The Mission of St. George Melkite Greek Catholic Parish is to serve the Melkite Community in the Northern West Bank of the Holy Land: spiritually, socially, mentally, physically, and economically. Physical Mission: to reduce malnutrition, to increase medical care, and to improve people's health. This Mission is implemented by giving free food, by paying for medical treatment, and by providing Saint Prophet Elijah (Mar Elias) Community Park. The current project is to increase the activities at Saint Prophet Elijah (Mar Elias) Community Park.
Abouna Firas Khoury Diab gives free food to everyone who asks him for food. People who have asked for food include females, males, Christians, and Muslims.
The Andrew Ennabe Foundation with Christina Ennabe at CHRISE121@aol.com has donated much money to improve the physical health of the members of St. George Parish. Beginning in Sept. 2007, the Andrew Ennabe Foundation donated money for medical treatment including surgeries, doctor visits, medicines, etc.
