The outside of the School building is completed. This building is connected to the Church and Convent (Abouna's home). Then, the Church, Convent, and School are really one connected building. The outside entrances are to the Church and the School. The Convent does not have an outside entrance. To enter the Convent, a person walks thru the Church or thru the School.

From November 7, 2008 to November 14, 2008, fifteen volunteers improved the road to Saint Ann (Al-Qiddissah Hannah) Kindergarten/Senior Citzen Center. These volunteers were from the United Methodist Church Global Ministry. They describe this project as General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church, Mission Volunteers, Project List for Teams: Middle East and United Methodist Individual Volunteer in Missions - Palestine Zababdeh, West Bank: St. George's Church (Melkite). Basic construction, general manual labor, bricklayer/mason helpful, gardening. Very small addition to church to be used as kindergarten and meeting room, construction of wall needed. These volunteers were led by Janet Lahr Lewis. Janet Lahr Lewis is United Methodist Individual Volunteer in Missions - Palestine, which is part of missionary of the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church and she is serving as the Coordinator of Friends of Sabeel-International at the Sabeel Ecumenical Liberation Theology Center in Jerusalem. She is the middle lady in the first photograph. These volunteers paid for the builder, the stones, the cement, and the sand.
