The goal of the Embroidery Project is to employ several women with part-time work to hand-sew traditional Palestinian embroideries.
As girls, some the women of the parish learned how to hand-sew traditional Palestinian embroidery. They have continued to embroidery.
Usually, embroidery products are only available locally. In special circumstances, Abouna Firas Khoury Diab will consider exporting embroidery products.
The exported embroidery products are only available by donation. The exported embroidery products are not for sale. No exported embroidery product has been sold. Further, there are no plans to sell exported embroidery products. One reason is the high cost of transportation would make the cost of the exported embroidery products so high that a cost conscious person would buy from other vendor.
Please consider a donation for these embroidery items.
Donation Instructions
Several women were employed part-time in the Embroidery Project. Unfortunately, these embroideries did not find a market. Now, this project is on hold until a market is found.
